The Boundaries of Art and Photography and Their Limitations

‘The Boundaries of Art, Photography and Their Limitations’ is an experimental exhibition of my desire to physicalize photography. Traditional methods, with the development of technology, have digitalized all aspects of the art form. To return to physically distorting images edges towards the fundamentals of art, so the exhibition will also act as an exploration of the boundaries of the two elements and how they both can limit creativity.

Through Macro: Natural Foods

Macro photography is about unveiling the details, looking at the textures and contrast not as well seen by the human eye. The subject area is often focusing on scientific elements, specifically towards animals and their detail, however I think the focus on looking at the inner workings of both natural and unnatural food is an interesting concept, hence I explored it here. Lighting, texture, colour and detail were the priorities within the project and were vital to the placement within the final image.

Through Macro: Nature

Another macro photography project, focusing on flowers found in a community park in my local area. I love this style of photography for the past couple of years and the attention to details not normally focused on in your everyday life.
